During your consultation, a treatment provider will carefully examine the area you want to treat with Hydrafacial. They may suggest alternative or additional treatments to help you meet your aesthetic goals!
Bring a list of your current medications, herbal supplements, and prescriptions to your consultation. You should plan to stop any over-the-counter acne medications 48 hours before your Hydrafacial. Do not wax or use any depilatories, exfoliate the skin, or use topical products containing tretinoin (such as Retin-A) for a few days before your treatment.
Before Treatment
On the day of treatment, wash your face, and do not apply make-up, lotions, sunscreen, or other cosmetics to the treatment area. Drink a lot of water for 48 hours before your treatment and avoid sun exposure.
If you have acne flare-ups or infections on the day of your treatment, you need to call Stadia MedSpa to reschedule.
During Treatment
Stadia MedSpa wants to help you make skincare easy and accessible. Hydrafacial is a fast and efficient treatment that takes as little as 30 minutes.
First, your Stadia MedSpa provider will cleanse and exfoliate the outer layer of the skin with the Hydrafacial wand. They gently glide the wand across your skin while the vacuum apparatus removes the impurities and dead skin. Activ-4 serum is released onto the skin – a combination of lactic and glycolic acid – to remove dirt or oils on the skin’s surface.
After the dead skin cells are removed, an acid peel loosens dirt deep in your pores. This aspect of the treatment can help prevent acne!
Next, the innovative vortex extraction technology removes blackheads and other impurities buried deep within your skin. The Vortex clears your pores more gently than any manual extraction. Another serum helps remove the dirt from deep in your pores.
After all the debris is removed, the final step is Vortex Fusion. The skin is infused with an antioxidant serum to plump your skin – leaving skin full, fresh, and hydrated.
